Tried it and returned it. Got a new seat fromUltimate-that didn’t fix my reach issue either. Found a cheap Chinese knock-off of this Kuryakyn on eBay for $150. Looked the same but wasn’t! The Kuryakyn is worth the money compared to eBay Chinese knock-off. Indian brand backrest is more rigid and better and is worth their price though too.Product was easy to install.It looks nice and seems of good quality.The bacjrest seam has started to come undone. Bought and installed dec 2017. See photo. Bike is parked in a garage at home and work. I have been in the rain several times, however. As i'm sure most of us are.I wish it was a bit more rigid. If i push back too hard it will force the backrest back. Just from adjusting in the seat.Overall its a nice backrest. Just bummed the seam has already started to tear. I realize craftsmanship isnt 100% quality everytime. Just dont want to have to replace this, since i really need it with my torn cartilage in my shoulders.Great for your back. You can ride all day in comfort.I purchased a less expensive back rest and ended up replacing it with this one. I paid more for it but, it is better quality and with some adjustment, you can get it exactly where you need it.This is a 5 star product for riders with lower back issuesGreat quality product. Tried the cheap route first and paid the price. This is a great alternative to the factory backrest. It will take a little bit to get adjusted correctly but it is worth it. If you are putting on an Indian roadmaster do not put the rear spacers in.Not real leather which is fine but the part of the fabric that makes it look like leather keeps flaking off more and more everyday. It’s comfortable to ride with but it’s quickly becoming an eyesore. I would not recommend this product. Kuryakyn is usually pretty good quality but this part comes up short in quality.Easy to install, great fit.Looks great, and was a great fit to my 2018 road master. Forgot what it was like to ride with a back rest, which is away better for me. Easy mount, still wonder about how it is with a passenger behind me.
