The five-star rating is for the service provided by Boomerang Books. The item was "new" (as advertised) and in perfect condition. But this film is a rarity: it's one of only two English-language films made by the great French director Alain Resnais (the other is PROVIDENCE) and it is the most unusual film Resnais ever made. I saw it many years ago, and cannot claim that this is some undiscovered masterpiece. It's far too antic and wayward and just straining to be outrageous. But it is an unusual work, showing a side of this master director (his love of comics) that is often overlooked. I know that this DVD was originally released in a group that included LIFE IS A BED OF ROSES, LOVE UNTO DEATH and MELO (all far superior films), and i got those DVDs, but not I WANT TO GO HOME... and then that title seemed to go out of print (fast)! So i was amazed to find it through the Amazon Marketplace, and available at Boomerang Books. The service was fast, efficient and very special. I would recommend Boomerang Books for rare items.
