Birgitta Behr was the female member of the now deceased band The Dust Of Basement.Calan.dra was a side project while she was still with The Dust Of Basement. The cd is a variety of pop, electronic, and synthpop material show casing her sometimes brittle, sometimes powerful vocals. The sound is different than The Dust Of Basement. There are far more guitars in the mix. This is not a commercial sounding cd, but a cd made of its own intentions.My favorite track is "Today." It is a slow moving echo chamber song with multi-track vocals and backwards percussion.The cd is very rare.
