My granddaughter just started kindergarten and she does not get enough of these books. We read them before and after school, then she has her mom and dad read them before bed.This is the best series of books on the planet in all of history. This is NOT an understatement. Basically teaches kids they can be told no and their head will not implode. Nor will the world come to a screeching halt. I happily read these books to my kids at night. There should be at least half a dozen of these books in every household that has children or horrificly entitled adults. No joke.This series of books has my grand daughter (age 9 yrs) reading for pleasure. That’s the best review you could ever hope for!This is very funny. My son loves it. And we read this book minimum twice a week. We laght a lot while reading it.This was the best book for my anxious twins going into kindergarten. The pigeon makes excuses and admits that he’s scared. It was super relatable to them both and diffused major anxiety that they had about the first day. I am so happy we bought this book!My students enjoyed this story so much!!Purchased this book for my daughter 3rd grade class. The students enjoyed having it read to them and love getting it from the reading center to read individually.A wonderful story for apprehensive children heading to school for the first time.I bought this book as a gift for my nephew who has just started nursery school and he loves it!Fantastic book very useful for children worried about school. My 6 year old found it very amusing and I admit I enjoy this range of books tooAbsolutely brilliant book. We always buy every book by Mo Willems and this one is great.My Grandson loves those books about the pigeon.We love the pigeon! Perfect gift for my daughter before she started school. She loves the humour and interaction. She identifies with some of the pigeon’s feelings about school and will get even more of a kick out of it as she gets older I’m sure!
