This was an easy instal, well semi easy. Putting the kit on was very easy, but 7 years ago when the oem harness was installed , it was ran under the cart rather then the channel that ezgo uses to run the harness. The reason it is very important to properly run the oem ezgo harness explains why people complaining about the length of the cable with this turn signal kit. If your oem harness was installed correctly, the 8 pin harness terminates right under the cup holder along with the brake light relay. That being g said once your 8 pin connector is under the cup holder , the wire from the turn signal terminates right there along with the blinker controller, and then it just plugs in and works. This part is a lot cheaper than buying EZGO's factory turn signal kit which will set ya back 258.00. So if your wanting turn signal switch and have the EZGO OEM accessories harness this is a great price just plug and play. To see if you have an oem harness just remove the 3 nuts under cup holder and you should see an 8 pin molex plug along with a brake light relay.
